Sangguniang Kabataan Council

Maverick Ross A. Solano is a youth leader and public servant currently serving as the Chairperson of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Namayan, Mandaluyong City. Guided by the principles of integrity, servant leadership, and inclusive governance, he has championed initiatives that empower young people through education, disaster preparedness, health, sports development, community safety, and civic participation. Under his leadership, the SK of Namayan has implemented various programs focused on creating meaningful opportunities for the youth while strengthening partnerships with government agencies, schools, community organizations, and local stakeholders. He believes that effective leadership is measured not only by vision, but by the willingness to show up, take action, and serve the community. Committed to building a safer, more empowered, and future-ready generation, Maverick continues to advocate for transparent governance, evidence-based policymaking, and active youth participation in nation-building.
